Bring Our Music Back Produces "August Nights at Harkness"... Music the way it was!

Bring Our Music Back, Inc in collaboration with Kitchings Productions presents August Nights at Harkness . . . Music the way it was. The concerts to be held at Harkness Memorial State Park, Waterford CT are scheduled for August 4 with performances by the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band of New Orleans and August 12, the one and only Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, under the direction of Buddy Morrow, the Gentleman’s King of Big Band Swing. All concerts will be held from 6p-10p. Doors open At 5:30 for traditional picnicking. The Bee and Thistle Inn of Old Lyme will sponsor the Best Picnic awards.

30 Seconds to Mars Joins Lupe Fiasco to Headline B.O.M.B. Fest 2010

B.O.M.B. Fest 2010, the Bring Our Music Back INC Festival announces the addition of award-winning rock band, 30 Seconds to Mars, to this year’s lineup at the Durham Fairgrounds in Durham, CT on May 30.

Old Lyme, Connecticut. May 3, 2010 – 30 Seconds to Mars stepped in after family obligations led Brand New to pull out of B.O.M.B. Fest 2010,the Memorial Day weekend music extravaganza. The band, scheduled for a World Tour in June, offered to help out after hearing about the mission of Bring Our Music Back INC, to promote healing through music and the arts. The non-profit, which produces the B.O.M.B. Fest concerts gives all net proceeds to select local and national charities. This year’s recipients include The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

30 Seconds to Mars won MTV’s Europe Music Award in 2007, MTV’s Asia Award in 2008 and Los Premios MTV Latinoamerica in 2008. Their latest album is This is War.

Frank Bombaci, Sr. may not be able to turn water into wine, but he does know how to turn it into gold – which he’s now sharing with his son. One of the founding fathers of Vitamin Water, Bombaci, Sr. now filters his passion and expertise for growing a business onto Frank, Jr., an 18 year-old Loyola University freshman, who inspired Bring Our Music Back, Inc., (a.k.a. B.O.M.B.) a non-profit dedicated to the enrichment of life and healing through music.

For the second year, B.O.M.B. Fest, The Bring Our Music Back Inc. festival, the brainchild of Lyme, CT resident, Frankie Bombaci, Jr. will bring together local, emerging talent from the region to share a venue with national acts. What started out as one time event has now blossomed into a national festival with rosters scheduled in Durham, CT May 30, 2010 and in New Orleans in 2011. Bombaci hopes to make it a national event with festivals taking place in cities across the US. Guess what – he won’t have much trouble doing that with how he is going about getting this festival off the ground – or should we say off the servers?

The Bring Our Music Back Festival, B.O.M.B. Fest 2010, will mark Earth Day with a 3-day reduced ticket price for the Sunday, May 30, Memorial Day Weekend ten-hour music extravaganza.

Old Lyme, Connecticut. April 19, 2010 – Forty years after the first Earth Day, B.O.M.B. Fest 2010, the Bring Our Music Back INC. festival , wants to honor the more than 1 billion people in 190 countries who are taking action to make our planet a safer place, by offering a special price on festival tickets. Starting at 12:01am on 4/20/2010 and ending at 11:59pm on 4/22/2010, the general admission, single ticket price for this year’s music festival at the Durham Fairgrounds in Durham, Connecticut will be forty-two dollars, ($42.00).

Ra Ra Riot, the indie rock band from Syracuse, New York has joined the lineup for this year’s B.O.M.B. Fest 2010. Featured in Spin, Fabric and Pitchfork Media, Ra Ra Riot made RollingStone.com’s HOT LIST in 2008.
